ACTIVE TIMES/PACE: Central Time; irregular hours. I can be both slow and irregular with my pace. I have several health issues, and some days I can't tag at all. If I haven't tagged back in a while and you want to make sure I got the tag or am still planning to return it, feel free to poke me.

STYLE: No preference between brackets or prose; prefer present tense, but will match past. I will occasionally post to texting memes, but tend to have trouble keeping up with text threads for long unless they switch to in-person.

OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS & TRIGGERS: No gore in picture prompts, no graphic descriptions of gore in tags.

CHARACTER BASICS

CANON: The Bifrost Incident
SUPPLEMENTAL: plot summary via fan wiki

SHORT FORM: Fierce and caring socialite turned revolutionary, mourning her dead wife and trying to claw some justice out of a world even more fucked up than she knows yet.

DEFAULT CANON POINT: Any time between Loki's execution and boarding the Ratatosk, but flexible.

VISUAL: PB reference. Very capable of dressing up to make an impression when she wants, though after her turn to becoming a revolutionary, tends to be more geared towards movement and practicality.
AUDIO: Singing.

OTHER USEFUL INFO: Sigyn's canon is vague on what, exactly, anybody's physiology is, but she is definitely much older than would be assumed by a standard Earth human by her appearance (around 80 or 90), and I assume a slightly heartier physiology (difficult to injure and kill, in particular).

OUT OF CHARACTER

BACKTAGS/SLOWTIME: Always, and happy to do it for ages. Please feel free to respond to things no matter how old they are, as well.

THREADHOPPING: Check, but generally fine.

FOURTHWALLING: Go for it. In addition, feel free to discuss the actual Norse myths (or Cthulu mythos, for that matter); Sigyn will probably be amused more than anything.

NOT INTERESTED IN: Smut without build-up or previous CR.

IN CHARACTER

PHYSICAL AFFECTION: Go for it. She's a touchy person if she likes you at all, so expect many casual touches and a fair few hugs; she also won't hesitate to pull away and ask why if strangers or people she doesn't like touch her.

PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: Yes. She's a small thing and not the best fighter, but she's been a member of the resistance for decades and will fight dirty until she can get away if she needs to. She can probably be overpowered, but she won't make it easy. Some familiarity and training with weapons, but not an expert in any of them. Canon gives some reason to believe she might be harder to seriously injure than a normal human; shoot me a PM if you want to talk about it.

PSYCHIC & PSIONIC INFORMATION: She's not human exactly, but she has no psychic abilities and no way to tell or block it. Sigyn before becoming a revolutionary is very carefully starting to question what's happening around her and hiding it behind a lot of showmanship; after, is pretty focused, a little bit angry, and extremely determined. Post-Loki's "death", there's a lot more anger, and raw grief that never really goes away.

OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS & TRIGGERS: Sigyn has a large personal sore spot in regards to her dead wife from the point of Loki's execution onward; she might be willing to talk about her, but will not take well to anything unkind said or even suggested about Loki, or to somebody pushing about her when Sigyn doesn't want to talk. She's also unlikely to take well to anybody who's a part of or on the side of any kind of dictatorship or tyrannical regime, though she is capable of holding her tongue and pretending if she feels like it's necessary; if she doesn't, expect rage.

RELATIONSHIPS

PLATONIC: Yes, please! Fellow revolutionaries or Midgardian socialites are welcome, but so are weird cross-canon friendships. She is a warm person, overall, and will make friends happily.

NEGATIVE: Also good, but most likely to happen with people who are either canonical Asgardian rulers, or remind her of them.

SHIPPING: Always open to ships; Sigyn is bisexual, leaning slightly towards women. At her default canon point, she's deeply in mourning for her wife, and any romantic interest is going to be an extreme slowburn before she's willing to consider it. By default I'll probably go to an earlier canon point for shippy things, but if you're up for later, slower things, let me know. As canonmates go, Loki is always yes, and I'd tentatively be interested in some messy shipping with Thor in either an AU or post-Loki "dying"? Otherwise, happy to discuss.

Looookiiiii -- that is all. There's so much room to fill things out, basically, it would be a lot of fun to play with.

Thor. Just... don't ask me why, but the like minute-long glimpse of the two of them working together has got me hungry for interaction between them. Were they ever some kind of weird friends via Loki, before Loki and Sigyn disappeared into the resistance, or have they never gotten along? How did they end up working together on the Ratatosk, anyway?

Honestly, canonmates in general, just give me whatever Bifrost stuff you want. Bonus points for threads dealing with Sigyn's grief over Loki, I would love to explore that.

Somehow landing in another world post-Ratatosk and trying to build some kind of life with help from a local.
